MINERAL BASED INDUSTRIES

A.                 Existing Mineral Based Industries
Thirteen units are working in the district, out of it, seven units are working as crushing plant, and four units are powdering unit and rest two engaged in mineral trading work. One granite polishing industry also exists in the district.
B.                Possible Mineral Based Industries
Cutting/Polishing units :
Based on vast deposits of dolomite and granite/granite gneisses, cutting and polishing units can be set-up in the district.
Refractory Industry :
This can be set-up in the district, utilizing dolomites of Jatama-Piparwani area. This dolomite is in general of B.F. grade.

Many small-scale industries can also be installed for making tiles, chips, and Granules, based on various types of rocks available in the district
